FiscalDB is a proprietary, commercially licensed fiscal storage engine operated by Binlogic (“FiscalDB”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data when you visit our website, request a demo or evaluation, contact us, or use our products and services.

For website visitors, demo requests and general enquiries, FiscalDB acts as the data controller. When you operate FiscalDB to store your own fiscal records, you are the controller of that data and FiscalDB acts as a data processor on your behalf under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

We collect only what we need to operate the site, respond to you and provide our services:

• Contact and identity data you provide — name, work email, company, role and the content of your message when you request a demo, an evaluation license or contact our team.
• Account and license data — credentials, license keys and entitlement records for customers and evaluators.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and pages requested, processed in server logs for security and reliability.
• Usage and analytics data — aggregated, privacy-respecting measurement of how the website is used, only where you have consented to analytics cookies.
• Cookie and consent data — your cookie choices and the timestamp of your consent.

We do not seek to collect special categories of personal data through the website. Please do not include sensitive personal data in free-text enquiry fields. For details on cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

• To respond to demo, evaluation and sales enquiries — based on taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in pursuing business.
• To provide, secure and support our products and services — based on performance of a contract.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — based on our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and users.
• To measure and improve our website — based on your consent (analytics cookies).
• To send service and, where permitted, relevant business communications — based on consent or legitimate interest, with an opt-out in every message.
• To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations — based on compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with vetted service providers that act on our instructions (for example hosting, email delivery, customer support and analytics), and with professional advisors or authorities where required by law.

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the UK or your home jurisdiction, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where relevant, additional technical measures. A copy of the relevant safeguards is available on request.

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after our last contact; contract, billing and tax records are retained for the periods required by law; security logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized. Customer-controlled data is retained and deleted according to your instructions and the DPA.

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls and audit logging. See our Security page. Report a vulnerability to security@binlogic.net.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any right, email privacy@binlogic.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can change your cookie choices anytime via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, by a notice on the website.
