1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) work in comparable ways. We use the term “cookies” to cover all of these. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you secure, and measure how the site is used.
2. The categories we use
We group cookies into four categories. Only strictly necessary cookies are set automatically; every other category is off until you opt in.
- Strictly necessary — required for security, session integrity, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. These are exempt from consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting, aggregated measurement of how the site is used so we can improve it. No cross-site tracking or advertising profiles. Set only with your consent.
- Preferences — remember choices such as language and light/dark theme. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — reserved to measure campaign effectiveness. We currently set no marketing cookies; if that changes, they will only be set with your consent.
3. Cookies and storage we set
fiscaldb.cookie-consent(necessary, local storage) — stores your consent choice and timestamp. Persists until you clear it or change your choice.fiscaldb.lang(preferences, local storage) — remembers your language selection. Persists until cleared.fiscaldb.theme(preferences, local storage) — remembers light/dark theme. Persists until cleared.- Aggregated analytics (analytics) — set only if you consent to analytics, via a privacy-respecting provider with no cross-site tracking.
4. Managing your choices
You can accept all, reject optional cookies, or choose per category when you first visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — your choice takes effect immediately and is remembered for future visits.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
